Our service can be used for both Proxmox VE and any linux based server. Once you sign up for service, you'll receive an email with your login details, encryption key and link to your server. We require all backups to be encrypted from the client side. On PVE, add your server instance as backup storage and you can schedule your backups. For Proxmox VE, you do not need to install anything. All you need to do is add your PBS server as backup storage.

Yes. Depending on your plan, you can push backups from an existing Proxmox Backup Server to The Amazing Cloud. Dedicated plans also support pulling backups from a remote PBS.

Yes, data encryption is wholly handled by you, but is simple to implement. You’ll be provided with the client-side encryption key once you sign up. If any backups are seen without client-side encryption, you’ll receive notifications alerting you that your data could be at risk of being lost.

You'll receive email alerts if your data is unencrypted, you're close to your storage limit, if your backups fail or if a site goes offline.
