  • Yes. Depending on your plan, you can push backups from an existing Proxmox Backup Server to The Amazing Cloud. Dedicated plans also support pulling backups from a remote PBS.

  • Yes, data encryption is wholly handled by you, but is simple to implement. You’ll be provided with the client-side encryption key once you sign up. If any backups are seen without client-side encryption, you’ll receive notifications alerting you that your data could be at risk of being lost.

  • You'll receive email alerts if your data is unencrypted, if you're close to your storage limit, if your backups fail or if a site goes offline.

  • Yes, you are provided with your own isolated dataset within a shared pool. Your dataset is constantly monitored, checking the space and integrity. You won’t have to worry about your neighbors even if they have an I/O intensive backup job running. We are able to load balance and allow all users on a shared plan to experience the same speeds when backing up.

  • Yes, you can always add more storage at anytime. Space increases are offered by TB and if you need more than 5TB, please contact us at support@untangledtechnology.com or (234) 274-3434.

    If you are on a shared plan and would like to switch to a dedicated plan, please reach out to us so we can get your data moved over to your new dedicated instance.

  • Traffic filtering options are available only on dedicated instances. You will have access to the Traffic Control panel within PBS and can control access by IP/network.

  • On dedicated instances, you can install additional software or configure services according to your requirements.

  • Proxmox versions 8 and 9 are fully supported.
